My beautiful and only child, Cathryn Claire Rose Tucker, was killed at only 11 years of age on August 15,2002, by Janie McNair, an extremely noncompliant insulin-dependant diabetic driver with the genetic absence of her left hand. She was allowed by her Montana driver’s license restriction to drive only if the vehicle was equipped with a steering knob, which it was not. She was driving for only 20 minutes when she crossed the center line of a mountainous two-land highway by 10, caused a massive three-car pileup, killed my daughter, nearly killed my 10-year-old nephew, and seriously injured six others. This 48-year-old woman had been noncompliant for 13 years prior to killing Cady and caused a two-car crash 2 1/2 years earlier in which an elderly gentleman later died of complications. As with the person who caused Patrick’s death, Ms. McNair was never EVEN TICKETED. I thought nothing could be worse but the GRIEVOUS INSULT OF COMPLETE LACK OF JUSTICE FOR CADY has been our grief even worse. Please prosecute these drivers who kill every time. It is your bounden duty to society and to our beloved family SENSELESSLY ROBBED OF THEIR LIVES.
